The Organic Superconductor Database (OSD) is an open access materials database created to store information about quasi-2D
crystalline organic conductors and superconductors based on molecules like BEDT-TTF. For more information about the status of
this project we invite you to read the associated publication,
A Database for Crystalline Organic Conductors and Superconductors.
This database contains various types of information including experimentally measured parameters and electronic band structure calculations.
All measurement information was inputted into the database by hand, and is associated with its respective publication.
CIF files were obtained from the Cambridge Structural Database and analyzed using a structural analysis algorithm.
The electronic structures for relevant materials were then calculated using a tight binding model.
Please note that because this is an in-progress project, there may be mistakes in the data.
All measurements were encoded by hand, and so the possibility of human error is always present.
Additionally, because electronic structures were calculated en masse, each individual calculation could not be checked.
If you notice a possible error in the database please use the provide feedback page to let us know.
